Why has iPlayer stopped working on my TV?

Connected TV | Update

*** Friday 31 May ***

We are aware that some users were unable to access iPlayer on their TV devices. Some saw an '02050' error message when attempting to play content.

After working closely with manufacturers, we can now confirm the problem was due to a direct issue with the individual device. They believe most of the affected devices can be updated with a fix.

If you are still having problems, we first suggest checking whether there is a firmware update as this may yet resolve the problem. If you're unsure how to check for updates, have a look online or in your user guide, or check with the manufacturer.

If you are still facing issues on your device, please contact the brand support using the numbers below. The teams there will be able to guide you through next steps.
